A Gesture Says a Thousand Words

I learned that a gesture says a thousand words years ago when I read Debra Benton’s Lions Don’t Need To Roar and I have used it every day since, and that is just one of the many professional gems to be found in this book. In the years since, the New York Times Best-Selling Author has written many more insightful books.

Recently, Debra and I were presenters to the Boulder Area Human Resources Association (BAHRA) and the Northern Colorado Human Resources Association (NCHRA) where I had the pleasure of listening to her firsthand.

CEO’s from around the globe rely on her advice and I encourage you to as well. She is an expert on the 70% of what we don’t say (our non-verbal communication) and she will also greatly improve the 30% of what you do say, and how you say it (our verbal communication).

Her latest book is Executive Charisma and you can find descriptions to it as well as a host of other valuable offerings on her website at www.DebraBenton.com
